Living by the sea on the South Coast, a beach picnic seemed like the perfect choice for my table. I wanted a bright, fun table that looked great against the (luckily on the day) blue skies and our Everyone’s Welcome and Mellow ranges were ideal. Using our new daisy picnic blankets alongside a low, pallet-style table and beach umbrella helped create a relaxed atmosphere for our gathering. The table was decorated with a selection of dinner candles in our scalloped metal candle holders, with a gingham table runner and raffia placemats. The bright striped glassware added an extra pop of colour – and kept the strawberry gingham napkins in place in the breeze.

My husband baked a selection of treats for the day, including maple bacon and cheese scones, white chocolate and strawberry blondies and cupcakes decorated with coloured icing and daisy flowers, to tie back to the picnic blankets. All delicious and excellent for sharing. Bud vases were filled with a mix of flowers from local Broadstairs florist, Flowers by SP.
