Each month one host gathers together colleagues from across the business to laugh, chat and get to know each other better. We call this Trudy’s Table. The host will choose their theme based on a Talking Tables range and build their table using these products, plus additional props, right here in London.

Chris, QC, hosted a eco gathering using our #planetfriendly product and reusable home ware. He ordered all his food from Farmdrop minimising transport miles by making sure everything came from the UK.

Did you enjoy the experience of hosting your gathering?

Yes, it is something I enjoy doing, it’s great to put a smile on your guests faces and it feels rewarding

What made it extra special for you?

I really enjoyed setting myself a challenge of ordering the food from the UK to help keep the number of transport miles down. It meant ordering seasonal goods and it was great to find out what was available this time of year.

What impact did Talking Tables' product have on the table?

I think the product really helps to finish the table. It was great to mix a few different ranges and utilise some of our reusable products such as the Global Gathering Fabric Table Runner which I think could be used with lots of different table layouts 

Who would you dream guest(s) be?

As a Man United fan my dream guest would be Alex Ferguson. I would love to question him on some of the stories that you only hear from the press to know what really happened.
